As an independent school, we have the freedom to choose the best combination of curricula for your children. We respect national and international trends in education and follow the enhanced CAPS framework.
We are proudly associated with the Helderberg Academy, an amazing organisation that teaches Life Skills through physical education and sports training. They focus on a combination of:
Sports coaching: teaching children the skills needed to play soccer, netball, rugby, dance and other sports, and also to keep fit and healthy, fighting obesity.
Life-skills mentoring: teaching many values such as respect, responsibility, courage and empathy.
Leadership development: teaching children to be role models in their communities by giving them experience in leadership/coaching.
School starts at 08h00 and we expect all learners to arrive by 07h50.
Parents can drop their children off from 07h00 onward.
We have an Aftercare Service, which operates from 13h00 to 17h30.

The quantity of homework in each grade varies. As a general rule for Grade 1-3, homework should be done in 1 hour.
Learners will receive 4 x written Progress Reports during the year. We will arrange a Parent/Teacher feedback session concerning the learner’s progress for each report.
